Um….an update…let’s see. Last night the electricity went out for a few hours before we went to bed. I lesson planned by candlelight, and Justin and I formulated a wake-up plan centered on cell phone alarm clocks and breakfast/coffee at McD’s.
I got to school and helped students with a lab on the effects of changing pH levels and temperature on daphnia, a tiny crustacean. I helped with the senior class meeting during advisory, helped seniors in my LA class choose a topic and thesis for their paper, and taught reading strategies to my LA10 class. During my free period, I watched the 10-12 students that didn’t go on one of the field trips.
After school, I went to the chiropractor, had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season, picked up Justin, and registered for Pioneer Organics again.
Now we are going to work out, as I am running a race this Sunday. ![]()

You are not allowed to be this chipper and get this much non-school work done when you have 3-4 preps and only so many hours to sleep!
