I just came back from the musical play Black Nativity. It was not really what I expected (especially the second half), but “exuberantly” joyous. One of my students from last year was in it as a singer/dancer. I was pleased to see Rev. McKinney, a respected older Black minister from Seattle, as the narrator and amazed at the talent present in the room. More later–time for bed!
